Her[Story]: Dancing with Purpose November 10, 2025
What happens when you mix passion, creativity, and a big heart for giving back? You get HerStory — a one-of-a-kind dance fundraiser produced by HelloBaby’s very own Board President, Jennifer Mosley, in partnership with JNM Events, the successful event company she’s run for more than 25 years.
On Sunday, December 21 at 7 PM, the stage will come alive once again for (Her)Story, an epic dance show celebrating women, movement, and community — all in support of HelloBaby.
For Jennifer, HerStory is more than just a show — it’s a homecoming.
“Dance has always been a part of my life,” she says. “After years away from the stage, I wanted to create a space where dancers — both current and former — could come together to have fun, express themselves, and reconnect with that joy.”
What started as a personal passion project quickly turned into a community movement. With the help of her brother, Jennifer built HerStory as an event that blurs the line between performance and celebration. It’s not a typical recital — it’s a night filled with energy, creativity, and connection. The crowd cheers, the dancers shine, and by the end of the night, everyone’s on their feet.
And at its heart, HerStory is about giving back.
“I knew from the start that this couldn’t just be about dance,” Jennifer says. “It had to make an impact. HelloBaby’s mission — to eliminate play deserts and give every child a place to play, learn, and grow — is deeply personal to me. Every child deserves that chance.”
In its first year, HerStory raised $3,500 for HelloBaby! This year, Jennifer’s hoping to double that impact — and she’s confident that the community will rise to the challenge.
“There’s something magical about watching people come together — dancers, families, and friends — all rallying around a good cause,” she shares. “You can feel the love in the room. That’s what HerStory is all about: women lifting each other up and using creativity to make the world brighter.”
The show itself promises plenty of surprises — Jennifer is known for keeping audiences on their toes. From powerful performances to moments that invite the audience to join in, every detail is designed to celebrate movement, empowerment, and joy.
